PNG, JPEG, WebP (static), AVIF, HEIC, SVG · up to 20 MiB per file
Limits & supported formats
ZIP or folder: up to 8 supported images, 40 MiB expanded total. Nested archives and unsupported entries are rejected.
Input: up to 8 files · PNG, JPEG, WebP (static), AVIF, HEIC, SVG · 20 MiB each, 40 MiB combined.
Static images: up to 2,048 px per side. Animated inputs are not supported here.
Still image output: up to 2,048 px per side and 4,194,304 pixels. No animation is exported.
Detailed budgets: 40,000,000 decoded pixels, an estimated 192 MiB working allocation and 64 MiB per ZIP. These estimates help reject large jobs; they do not guarantee a browser process memory peak.
Files are processed one at a time with shared settings. A failed file does not stop the others.

Export PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, BMP, a multi-size ICO, a still GIF, or an SVG containing a PNG. SVG output is a raster container, not vector tracing. Safe SVG input is limited to self-contained shapes and gradients up to 1 MiB: scripts, external resources, CSS and text fonts are rejected. HEIC and AVIF accept still images only. Lossy formats can change color and detail; JPEG removes alpha.
Choosing your settings
Animated inputs are rejected rather than silently reduced to a still. Metadata is removed; JPEG replaces transparency with a chosen color.
If the result needs another pass
If WebP encoding is unavailable in your browser, choose PNG or JPEG. Keep the original when conversion increases size.
Good to know
Which formats preserve transparency?
PNG and WebP keep alpha; AVIF and BMP outputs also include it, while still GIF reduces alpha to transparent or opaque. JPEG fills transparency. ICO contains PNG images at multiple icon sizes.
What if a file cannot be decoded?
If WebP encoding is unavailable in your browser, choose PNG or JPEG. Keep the original when conversion increases size.
