Limits & supported formats
Input: 1 file · GIF · up to 20 MiB.
Images: up to 2,048 px per side and 400 animation frames.
Output: up to 2,048 px per side, 4,194,304 pixels per frame and 400 frames.
Detailed budgets: 40,000,000 decoded pixels, an estimated 192 MiB working allocation and 64 MiB per ZIP. These estimates help reject large jobs; they do not guarantee a browser process memory peak.

GIF Effects
Adjust one effect at a time and play the whole result. RGB offset separates red and blue channels; scanlines darken alternating bands. Posterization reduces levels per channel, with optional dithering. Re-encoding can change palette colors; decoded frame timing is retained.
Choosing your settings
Effects change the exported pixels. Pixelation is not a guarantee that private information cannot be recovered. Transparency and timing are retained.
If the result needs another pass
If edges look harsh, lower contrast or the pixel block size. Keep the original for future edits.
GIF timing note: missing, 0 ms and 10 ms frame delays are read as 100 ms. Other supported delays are retained unless the task changes timing or the frame sequence. Re-encoded animation may therefore differ from a viewer that handles unusually short delays differently.
